How to Apply to the 2021 Summer Encampment

Want to make a difference in your community and learn how to become a stronger agent of change?

The 2021 Virtual Encampment is
July 5 – 28, Monday through Friday plus July 24.*

With EFC’s community-based and arts-as-activism approach, you will:

  • Get a deeper perspective on social justice issues.
  • Meet activists and civic leaders.
  • Learn more about how your community works and how you can make change where you are.
  • Participate in a multicultural community of peers from across the nation who will share their communities with you.
  • Use arts to express your perspective on social justice concerns.
  • Receive four months of follow-up support to develop an action plan.

Participants will learn and practice the powerful strategies of critical thinking, action planning, and using creativity and the arts in working for social justice.

*There will be a 6-hour pre-Encampment orientation in June and four months of follow-up programming in the fall.

The 2021 Virtual Encampment is accepting applications. Apply today! Deadline is March 1.
