Join Us for “The Power of We (2.0)”

Hope. Resistance. Collective Action.

On January 19, 40 Encampers and supporters gathered for our InterGen Café to share our fears, our tools for resilience, and our commitment to action. We spoke of resistance, respite, and the power of truth in a time of misinformation. We lifted each other up and showed we are a strong community.

Now, it’s time for the next step.

“The Power of We (2.0): Sharing OUR Stories of Power”

📅 March 22, 2025
2 PM PT | 3 PM MT | 4 PM CT | 5 PM ET
📍 RSVP by Google form or E-mail admin@encampmentforcitizenship.org

At our last gathering, we built a foundation of strength. Now, we move forward with purpose. We will highlight alternative media, share research on opposition tactics, and — most importantly—lean into the power of storytelling and collective hope as forces for change.

Through generations, ordinary people have reshaped history. Their stories inspire, guide, and remind us that we are never alone in this fight. That is why we will have several members of our community share their stories with our group on March 22. Join us as we continue the conversation, strengthen our connections, and prepare for the long road ahead.

“The Power of We” is real — join us, and let’s keep it moving.

💡 Bring your voice. Bring your vision. Bring your resilience.

The Encampment is an intergenerational community-building organization with a profound approach to social justice education. It’s a unique space where young people (15-18) meet peers from different backgrounds, and live and learn together. Together, they find and develop their leadership and organizing skills. This community-building nourishes the seeds of democracy. You can help build support for the EFC’s work by sharing this post with your network!
