Access the EFC Network for an informal Zoom conversation among alums of all ages on Arts and Activism.
Join Jane Sapp and your fellow alums for a conversation about how you can use the arts to get the word out about your justice efforts. Ms. Sapp invites you to “Share, through the arts, your reflections, critiques, vision, imaginings and actions directed at creating a deeper connection to our own humanity and a more just world.”
Recent & Older Alums: Share what you are doing and learn from EFC alums and supporters who use the arts in their work. Speakers include Faya Ora Rose Touré, Aaron Richardson (2014+), Angel Mendez (2014+), and Ursa Shabazz (2020+).
“I am thrilled to be part of a conversation that explores the ways in which the arts can drive social change and create meaningful impact and I invite you to join us. The EFC was my first introduction to the transformative power of poetry and prose and I use both in my work of activism. It is exciting to have this unique opportunity to engage with a diverse range of artists, activists, and others who are using their creative talents to raise awareness, challenge social norms, and promote meaningful change in their communities and beyond.” — Litzy Hernandez, 2015+
