Dear EFC Community,

We are excited to invite you to our next InterGen Cafe, taking place on Sunday, January 19. As we enter 2025, we face new, as well as ongoing, challenges that threaten the rights of immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, people of color, women, the integrity of our education and justice systems, and voting rights and democracy. Now, more than ever, it is time to come together to reflect, strategize, and support each other.

Purpose of this InterGen Cafe:

  • Check in on the community: Share how we’re doing and support one another.
  • Strategize how to move forward: Discuss practical ways to resist these assaults on justice and protect our most targeted and vulnerable communities.
  • Learn from experts and each other: Hear from knowledgeable voices in the EFC network, and collaborate on actions we can take together.

We’ll have dedicated breakout groups focused on: immigration, mental health, hate crimes, and misinformation. Each group will provide space for participants to reflect on these critical issues, share perspectives, and collaboratively develop strategies for meaningful action at both the local and national level.

How You Can Help Before the 19th:

Please share the names of organizations that are addressing the current assault on targeted groups so we can compile a list and send it out to the community. RSVP and share your organization recommendations by replying to this email or contacting admin@encampmentforcitizenship.org.
